This is a summary of the more commonly applicable college rules. For

Domestic rules

You may not damage the decorations in any way. No blue or white tack. No sellotape.

No cooking in rooms.

Microwaves brought by students must be checked for safety by an electrician and
duly marked. Ovens must be marked with a seal of approval or they will be
confiscated.

No noise (including music & radio) between 11pm and 1pm the next day.

A gathering of more than 10 people constitutes a "party" for which
permission must be sought from the a tutor three full working days in advance.

You may not remove furniture from your room. Nor may you bring your own furniture.

Students may have one guest in their room overnight, but he/she must be signed in
by 10pm and may not stay for more than 3 nights in any 7 day period.
General rules

You must wear a gown to second hall and superhall, and to Chapel.

Games may not be played on any lawns, including Harvey Court Gardens, apart from
croquet on the croquet lawn at Harvey Court.

You may not go on the grass in the Old Courts apart from Gonville Court during
Lent Term around lunch and hall.

Students must register with a GP in Cambridge.

Students may not keep any motorised vehicles in Cambridge without tutorial
permission.

Bikes must be registered with the Porters and marked with a registration number,
or they will be removed and disposed of.
Financial rules

You will not be given a degree if you owe any money to the College or
the University.

You must buy 45 dinner tickets every term (less in Lent Term), and dine at
40 halls.
