Lockers

Lockers are available by the Gate of Necessity (useful for students living away from the centre of town, not Harvey Court or the Old Courts) for a £5 deposit. Get in touch with the college housekeeper early in the year to sign up for one. Similarly keys for cupboards and drawers in rooms may be obtained from the housekeeper for a £5 deposit.

Music practice rooms

There are partly sound-proofed practice rooms with pianos in Harvey Court. Ask the Porters for a key.

Rooms for use in College

Harvey Court Breakfast Room (£8 per hour), the Bateman Auditorium (£12 per hour), the Bateman Room (£8 per hour), the Junior Parlour (£10 per hour) and the Green Room may all be booked by students for private events. These rooms are free Caius societies, college purposes and charities subject to tutorial permission.

Hall and the Senior parlour are also available, but not as easily. See "Use of Public Rooms in College" (p34, 2004) in the College Regulations booklet for more.

Storage

The void under Harvey Court and the storeroom in St Mike's are available for storing things over vacations etc (at your own risk). Ask the local porters for more information.
