DVD collection

Organised by the Caius Films society, DVDs are available on loan from the College bar. You need to sign up as a member of the DVD club first.

Photocopier

A card-operated photocopier is available in the College library on the south-side balcony. Cards can be purchased and topped up with credit using the machine by the photocopier. The same cards work at a number of departments throughout the university.

A better featured photocopying service is available at CUSU.

Sewing machine

A sewing machine is available from the Linen Room in the Gate of Necessity. See the linenkeeper, Olive, between 8am and 11.45am to ask if you can borrow it.

Sleeping Bags

Sleeping bags can be hired from the main Porters' Lodge. £2.50 is charged for laundering.

Video camera

Any Caius student is welcome to use GCSU's camera for academic or personal usage. As the camera can be in great demand, it will operate on a first come, first serve basis. Simply just email Dave Walker at least one full day before you require the camera, email early to avoid disappointment. The maximum time that a student can borrow the camera is four days, if further time is required then an email can be sent on the last day of usage to see whether any other Caius students wishes to use it.

Then, if no one wants to use it, the camera can be borrowed for a further maximum of four days. Whoever signs out the camera will then be responsible for the camera and would have to pay for any repairs/replacement required, if any damage would occur. These guidelines have been set down to make sure that all Caius students have fair and full access to the video camera.
