Noise

“Lorries trundle up and down Green Street from about 6.30am. Though it's noisy at first, you get used to it really quickly and it's no problem at all.” (Jan 2008)

“The room is very noisy in the morning, but all the rooms in the house are. It has secondary glazing which helps a bit.” (Jan 2005)

Gyp Room

“Decent sized gyp room right next to the room. It's shared with three other people.” (Jan 2008)

“The kitchen is fine, has a microwave and a fridge between four people.” (Jan 2005)

Bath Room

“Probably the weakest feature of this room. There is a bathroom along the corridor, but this is freezing cold in winter and doesn't have showering facilties. Nearest shower is upstairs and has to be shared with loads of the house” (Jan 2008)

“The bathrooms are pretty standard, the showers work well.” (Jan 2005)

Furniture

“Decent sized desk, a small coffee table and a couple of extra chairs.” (Jan 2008)

“There is plenty of furniture, two chests of drawers, a built in wardrobe, shelves a desk and a couple of small tables.” (Jan 2005)

Best Feature

“It's a large, light room in a supurb location” (Jan 2008)

“It's the lightest and largest room in the house (still dark on a winter afternoon though) and on the main corridor so its sociable.” (Jan 2005)

Worst Feature

“Bathroom facilities aren't great, and the lack of an internet socket can be a problem if the wireless connection is not working. Heating system doesn't seem to kick in till after 3, but it's not a big deal” (Jan 2008)

“No sink.” (Jan 2005)

General Comments

“Overall, a really good place to live. The decor is fine, the bedder really friendly and living in such a central location is great” (Jan 2008)

“The landlady is really nice and very good, there are plenty of sockets, the heating is a bit dodgy but ok.” (Jan 2005)
