- Noise
“noisy at about 2am every night, but you get used to it n the windows block out most of the noise. not really any noisier than you'd expect living on a street otherwise.” (Jan 2008)
“Rose crescent gets noisy, this room is above La Raza. However, I am a deep sleeper so it has never really affected me. Double glazing is very effective, would only be a big problem when its really hot and you want to leave the window open. If you have trouble sleeping, take up rowing.” (Feb 2007)
“Above Gardies and La Raza, so naturally fairly noisy. However, I personally haven't found that a problem - it's not so noisy that it wakes me when i'm asleep (however i am quite a heavy sleeper, so may be a problem if you sleep light).” (Jan 2004)

“4 people would be sharing it, not too bad, we get the building's washing machine which is a plus. enough space for whatever you need it for.” (Jan 2008)
“Big gyp room, one of the only ones with hobs left! Washing machine in gyp room. Very good size. Share with 4.” (Feb 2007)
“Medium sized, but also contains Rose Crescent's only washing machine, hence slightly more clogged than others. Hob only, no grill. Shared by 4. Very close to room.” (Jan 2004)

“Very close, 4 bathrooms and 3 showers (1 brand new) within 10m of room!” (Feb 2007)
“Decent facilities. Two toilets (one with bath) and a shower, shared between 4. Have never had to wait to use the toilet. Close to room.” (Jan 2004)

“Not much sunlight, room is deep in rose crescent. Bring lots of lights with you! Well decorated, nice room. Good for a second year, but you probably would not want this room in 3rd year due to noise issues.” (Feb 2007)
“Two supervision rooms across the corridoor - so if you anticipate on making a lot of noise during the day, could cause a problem (it's never inconvenienced me personally). Would prefer better gyp room facilities.” (Jan 2004)
