Noise

“Bin men sometimes wake you up at about 7.30 - 8.00, which is generally good if you can't get out of bed, sometimes quite noisy late at night (on Fridays etc.)” (Jan 2008)

“Noisy bin lorries @ 6am most mornings. Quite annoying for about 2 weeks then once accustomed to them its not too bad” (Jan 2003)

Gyp Room

“4 people sharing a cupboard sized gyp room, about 4 feet from door.” (Jan 2008)

“My room is fairly small 4x4 metres. Cosy, but not great for having people round.” (Jan 2003)

Bath Room

“Toilet close by with aeroplane style wash basin. Shower/bath stuff two floors down.” (Jan 2008)

“Showers are down 2 flights of stairs and are shared between 6 people. Staircase has 4 gyp rooms. One on every foor.” (Jan 2003)

Furniture

“70's furniture - medium sized desk, coffee table, comfy chair, plenty of shelves.” (Jan 2008)

“Tiny desk. If I had a sofa or a dining room table there would not be any room left.” (Jan 2003)

Best Feature

“Window over looks Trinity street (if you stick your head out) - occasionally you get to enjoy the spectacle of someone being arrested at 3 in the morning. The room is pretty small, but it's cosy.” (Jan 2008)

“View onto Trinity's Great Court and John's Chapel. Within spitting distance from Trinity” (Jan 2003)

Worst Feature

“Being on the fourth floor means lugging your luggage up and down every term gets pretty tedious.” (Jan 2008)

“Radiator decides to stop working at random intervals” (Jan 2003)

General Comments

“There are a few holes in the plaster work which make the place a bit shabby, but nothing really awful. View's quite nice (over Trinity), but not much sunlight. Plenty of wardrobe space.” (Jan 2008)

“No sunlight really. Bedder is very nice and friendly. She is chatty, but not annoyingly so. Cleans my room very well too.” (Jan 2003)
